Key Initiatives

Through the years, the BCNA has played a key role in a number of initiatives that make Back Cove a better place for all of us, including:

• Bringing Ocean Avenue Elementary School to the neighborhood
• Starting an "Aging in Place" program to help neighbors thrive in familiar settings
• Advocating for new playground equipment and plantings in Heseltine Park
• Helping to launch Sundays on the Boulevard to encourage car-free recreation
• Hosting parties and festivals to foster community and connection
